I promise we didn't beat him!!!

Mister Ethan Hunter fell and split his lip open today. He has quite the fat lip. If anyone has spent any time with Ethan you know that he is ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) on the move. He pretty much runs everywhere...he is on a mission and has no time to waste. Well he was running and tripped up on the rug and face planted into a toy. Grandma and Grandpa said he wasn't a happy camper for a while. But isn't he looking happy now?? He is definitely a boy alright. We will be in trouble with all the things he is going to teach his little brother.

This won't be the first time and it won't be the last time he gets a fat lip or falls down.

Boys, Boys, and more Boys!

Just wanted to Congratulate our cousins Michael and Dusty on the new addition to their family. We just found out that they are expecting a Boy as well. This year must have been the year for BOYS! She is due 3 days after Laura. There will be so many little babies being born...how exciting!

Good luck and Congratulations to all the new mommies!

Can't wait to meet and hold the Smith Baby and Lauricella Baby... by the time I get to hold Baby Gutierrez I am not sure he will be a baby anymore. :-(

Tough times...

I had taken off early on Friday to go to the doctors and I come back today to find out that they FIRED two people and they are putting two people on part-time status just within my department! The economy has really hit us hard at work. For the last 3 years that I have worked there our department has made the money for the whole company. Now we are hurting for work. I am glad I will be going on maternity leave here in the next month, but scared about having a job when it is time for me to go back to work. Hopefully the worst part is over and commercial building begins to build again. We need the economy to rise again for the sake of Truck Equipment.

Sun, Fun, & Pool

Today we decided to go to Grandma's and play in the pool. Ethan on the other hand didn't really want too...but we got about 15 minutes of play time out of him before NAP time. Here he is floating in his fish boat. Too Cute!

Here is Ethan having some fun at the Water Park in Marley Park. He had a great time and didn't want to leave. He was pretty tired once we got him home. :-)

Brendan Update

Yesterday I went to the doctor for my check-up. The doctor is still concerned on the size of Brendan and will be scheduling a ultrasound for my 37th week. Which is just 4 short weeks away. Once the results of the ultrasound come back the doctor will determine if they will induce me or let Brendan come naturally. We are still playing a waiting game. It is good though since it gives him more time to develop and get stronger. We will keep you up to date on Brendan's arrival. We are very excited to meet him. I believe that Ethan will be in for a shock when a "New" baby comes home and has our attention as well.

Brendan Plummeted

Well as of yesterday Brendan has dropped. He is getting himself into position and ready to meet his family. I have been quite uncomfortable for the past few days. I could tell something just wasn't right...and yup I was looking at myself in the mirror yesterday and I could tell he had changed positions on me. I have 49 days until his due date...unless I get other news from the Dr. this Friday. Can you believe it is that close?? I can't!!! Let's hope that he can wait to make his arrival after Grandma gets back from New Zealand. If not we are all in T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Emalia

Here is the oh so sad Miss America. She is currently in here heat cycle and moody as ever! Boris won't leave her alone and her only relief is when we lock Boris up in the kennel. This is Emalia looking at me and saying "Thank God you locked him up!"

Finding out Friday

I have a doctor's appointment on Friday and they are going to let me know if they are going to schedule another Ultrasound. The doctor is worried on how big Brendan feels. Brendan might not make it to his original due date.

Freaks me out knowing that he might be here sooner then we realize. We finally got the changing table ordered. All of the websites that were selling this changing table were out of stock. My mom came across a website that had our changing table! So of course we ordered it right away and hopefully it will show up on August 8th. This piece is the finishing touch to Brendan's nursery. I will post pictures as soon as it is complete.

Horray!

I realize that most of you don't know our neighbors...but we have exciting news about them! They have moved!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO. They haven't been the nicest neighbors since the day they moved in. So it won't be a great loss that they aren't there anymore. But it is scary to know what might moved in. Let's hope they aren't "Redneck Hillbillies" like the ones across the street from us. That is the only problem with renting your house out. Never know what is going to move in.

Girl's Weekend

This is Laura's new favorite store, Coach! She couldn't figure out which one is liked the best. We drove to California this weekend to go shopping at a outlet for 3 stores...Coach, Carter's, and Motherhood Maternity. We had a blast at these 3 stores. We did manage to go into other stores but they just weren't as much fun to shop in. Laura now has a new "mommy" size purse. It was a exciting day.

This is Ethan's idea of "Helping" mommy with the laundry. I turned around for just a minute to get more clothes from the hamper and this is what I found. He is so fast!! Look at those big brown eyes, how could I ever be mad at him.

Can you believe it?

Brendan will be here in 60 days or less! It is amazing how fast the last 7 months have flown by. In just a short time Ethan will have a little brother to teach all of his bad habits too. Lord help us all! The good thing is that he will be able to teach his little cousin all the bad stuff too. Pay backs to Neal for being so mean to me when we were little. :-)

About time

I created a blog a long time ago but never did anything with it. Now that Neal and Laura have one up and running I decided I would get my butt in gear and start blogging. I guess it is the "thing" to do now.
