Gingerbread House

This is a homemade gingerbread house that we had set up in our lobby at work. I took the boys there to see it and take there pictures. Ethan loved the fake snow that they had there.

Test

I am proud to say that I passed my Arizona State Board Nursing Assistant test. Not really sure how the heck I passed it but I did!! I really really thought that I failed it and would have to sit through another 8 hour test.

I had several emotional days in between my test day and the result day.

The results came through email before you get them in the mail and when I opened the email I had to triple check the name, address, and SS # on the email. I didn't believe my eyes. I guess all those late nights studying and note taking did me good.

I want to thank my family and especially my husband & mother for all of the support that you have given me these last 4 months. All of the encouragement helped me through my low times.

Now on to the next chapter of life...Licensed Practical Nurse. I am on the wait list for the program and hopefully I will be starting that program in 8-9 months.

But for now...I get to enjoy the holidays without the stress of school & state boards on my mind.

Glendale Glitters

We took the boys to see the lights at Glendale Glitters tonight. They weren't as thrilled as they are every day when they see Nana's & Papa's lights on their house.

State Boards on Wednesday

My nursing assistant certification is about to become REAL on Wednesday. I am scheduled to take my state boards that day. Talk about nervous. I have been studying and going over all of the skills again to make sure that I am completely ready. Hopefully everyone can think good thoughts on Wednesday and help me make it through my 6 hour test. Lots more studying ahead for me these next few days.

My two Turkeys

I know I am just a few days late on posting these pictures...but here are my two turkeys. Nana bought them turkeys shirts for the feast. Poor Brendan was sick with a fever for Thanksgiving dinner so he did not get to eat any turkey this year. I am sure he will eat plenty next year.

T is for Troublemakers

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at The Christ household. We put the Christmas tree up this weekend along with all of the other decorations. It has been a challenge trying to keep their little hands off of everything. We haven't put ornaments on the tree yet because we have sticky fingers that live in this house...if you know what I mean. But the boys are enjoying all of the lights and especially the decorations outside. It has been awesome to see there eyes light up with each new thing they see lite up.

We took the boys to get their pictures done Monday night. It seems to get harder and harder to get them to smile and take good pictures each year.

But we did get some good ones...and here they are.

Happy Halloween!

We had a fun time taking the boys trick-or-tricking last night. Aren't they cute in their costumes? Brendan was a cow, Ethan was Tigger, and Tyler was a monkey. They were all so cute! They kept looking at each other...I think they were trying to figure out why the heck they looked so different. Ethan did say trick-or-treat but he was shy so you could barely hear him.

We had a good time and that's all that matters.

School

I have passed all 4 of my finals with A's. The skills part of the final was the hardest and most stressful of them all for me. To my surprise I passed that test with a 100%. I would have never guessed that I would have aced that test! Now I have two weeks of clinical's I will be complete. Once my clinical part is done I then have to wait for the State Board test. Hopefully that won't be too long after I graduate. I want to take it soon after so it is fresh in my mind.

Holy Batman!

Batman showed up to our house for a visit today! Batman is a cute little fellow.

In Jail

I sent these two to jail. I was cleaning their toys up and lets just say that it was clean for about 2 whole minutes!!!! I am never going to be able to keep a clean house with these two characters.
