Brendan's B-day Pictures

My Brendan Michael is now 2 years old!! I am not sure where the heck the time went.

Brendan you are extremely independent just like your Big Brother! Of course, everything Ethan does you have to do as well. You two are just like the saying "Monkey see, Monkey do." You are very active just like Ethan but you are always up for some good old cuddling with your momma! I love to sit with you and your blankets and just cuddle.

Your current weight is 31.8 lbs!!! You are just 7 lbs shy from Ethan's weight. I can see us sitting on the football field cheering you on!

We have recently had to take you to daycare and all of the ladies just love you there! They think that you are so cute and sweet. They want me to bring you all the time. But I told them they couldn't have you.

Mister Brendan Michael just waking up from a nap. Isn't he just so cute?? Look at that cute smile he has...will melt girls hearts (hopefully many many years from now). I also call him Hillbilly BB cause he doesn't have a shirt on under his overalls. Nana likes to dress him like that!!! :-)

Brendan's One Year Pictures

Brendan was so good for his pictures today. Can you say "What a Ham?" The dog in the pictures was a new stuffed animal from Build a Bear from Uncle Bill and Aunt Kathy. He loved his new toy for his birthday.

We had a mini birthday party for Brendan last night. At first he wasn't sure about the cake or what to do with it. But once he got a little taste he was all about it...as you can see.

Happy Birthday My Little Boy!

You sure have grown up right before my eyes. A year ago today I was nervous and couldn't sleep due to the anticipation of meeting you for the first time. I couldn't stop imagining who's smile you inherited, what color eyes you have, and how big you were going to be. All the doctors predicted you being a 8+ pound baby boy but you proved them all wrong. You were a tiny, sweet, lovable 6lbs 11oz bundle of joy.

Your smile lights up a room and when I look at you I just want to grab you and cuddle you.

Your big brother beats up on you but he better watch out. I have a feeling you are going to be bigger and stronger than him. You will be able to pay him back for everything that he has done to you. But there is one thing that you both share and that is love for each other. You will be best friends for life. As your mother I see the bond that you both have with each other.

I hope that you have a wonderful 1st birthday! I couldn't imagine life without Ethan and you. Motherhood hasn't been a bowl full of cherries but every time you boys smile at me it melts the bad times away. Every time I hear your laugh it makes me smile.

Waiting Patiently

Boris and Emalia waiting for Brendan to drop some cheerio's...or should I say waiting for him to feed them. Brendan thinks it is funny to drop food to the doggies.

Too Cute for Words

Here is the cutie Brendan before he got a black eye.












This picture is hard to tell that he has a black eye but you can kind of see it on his right eye (left to us looking at the picture). He thought that he could climb up on the seat bench just like Ethan and down he fell. Poor BB.

Meet...BC Hammer

That is what Uncle Bill calls Brendan. My uncle has nicknames for all of the kids.
Brendan - BC Hammer or Hammer
Ethan - Arms
Tyler - Feets

When he calls Ethan and Brendan it is Arm & Hammer.

We will miss him until his next visit...less than a month away! The boys just love him.

Walking...

Brendan is standing on his own and has balance! Plus he is standing about 3 steps before he falls down. I can't believe my little boy is starting to walk. I haven't had a opportunity to catch him walking while having the camera...so I don't have any pictures yet. But I will try to be ready tomorrow with camera in hand.

We finally got our memory card reader for the camera. Jason ordered two of them and they came directly from Hong Kong. That's why it took longer then I expected.

Brendan's 9 month photos

Look how big my little boy is!!!! I can't believe that he is 9 month old already. I am not sure where the time has gone. He is walking with a push toy. It will be a matter of time before he is walking everywhere. Oh boy watch.

Alittle late but another milestone

Brendan has been crawling for several weeks now. He is all over the place following his big brother and crawling all over the dogs. He is also trying to walk...pulling himself up on objects and then letting go like he has been walking forever. He isn't even 8 months old yet! Shortly I will be chasing around two little monsters. Brendan is so proud of himself and his accomplishments.

And he can sit by himself...

He is having a great time playing with his big brothers tonka truck. He is really enjoying himself now that he can sit up and play with all the toys. Boy, they are growing up so fast. I can't believe it.
I also posted the one of him sleeping because he is just so darn cute. He actually smiled in his sleep for that picture.
