Time

There hasn't been much time to keep our blog updated. So I thought that I would post an update on our our family is doing. We all have been getting over being sick...and that was a horrible time for us. We all didn't feel good at the same time. :-(

School has been challenging but I have learned so much in 3 short weeks. I have gotten a 98% on all of my tests so far. So I have missed one on every test that I have taken. Sucks I tell ya. But it is better than missing more, huh?

Ethan was able to count to five for me last week and show me how to count on his fingers. He has really been developing a vocabulary and using the words to describe and tell me what he has done during the day. He even tells me that I need to do homework!!!

Brendan is still growing so fast. He is climbing up on everything and points at things he wants now. Poor BB is still getting beat down by his big brother...but I think BB will be able to beat back at Ethan soon!! He is growing up right before my eyes.

The boys have been enjoying spending Boy Time together on Thursday and Saturday's while mommy is at school. They love the fact that mommy isn't home telling them to clean up and don't make a mess. I am sure you can imagine what the house looks like when I get home. :-)

We really haven't been able to go out and do much due to our schedules...but we are hoping that after school is over and the weather cools off we want to take the boys to the zoo. Ethan enjoys his animal books very much and tells us what all the animals are. So I think he will really enjoy the Zoo.

Halloween is coming up and still don't have costumes for the boys. I need to get my butt in gear. I am trying to decide on what they should be. Ethan is very excited to go treat or treating this year. He wants C-A-N-D-Y! (that's what he told me anyway)

Hopefully I will be able to get some pictures taken soon and update more!

It's been awhile...

It has been several weeks since I posted. We have been very busy in The Christ Household...but I have also lost the card reader for my camera. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get any pictures off my camera until the new card reader comes in.

Ethan has learned to swim in the pool all by himself! What a great accomplishment for my little man. He is also telling me what things are now while we are driving by. He likes to tell me about the parks, trucks, jeeps, and everything else.

Brendan is standing and balancing without the help of any toy, table, couch, etc. Boy oh boy he is growing up faster then I realized. He goes to the doctor for his 9 month check up on Friday. Should be interesting to know his stats.

Jason is busy at work as usual. Things are busy for me...budget is coming up and I am busy trying to get the docs prepared for the management team. Numbers, numbers, and more numbers.

Survivial

Well we survived the first week of having two children! Thank God for my mom though. If it wasn't for her I am not sure how we would have made it. We went to her house every day last week and she would take care of Ethan (who is sick so that equals cranky and she was sick with a cold as well) and I took care of Brendan. I am feeling much better and able to move around more. There is still some pain every once in a while but much better. Jason was excited because he was able to get some home cooking! My mom cooked dinner for us every night and it was Yummy. Finally Jason gets good food. :-)

Also my Dad flew in from Michigan on Saturday. We were all excited about his visit and it is finally here. We celebrated Jason's b-day on Saturday (yes a month late but a lot has happened since his b-day) and watched the first game of the season for Notre Dame. What a game it was...I didn't have faith in them winning but they pulled it off. My dad was so H-A-P-P-Y that they won. Yeah right!!!!!

Brendan had his first doctors appointment and he is back to his birth weight 6lbs 11 oz so that is good. He has been sleeping good for me! Unlike his brother who didn't let me sleep for the first week he was born. Brendan is a little bit of a lazy eater so I have finally figured out his eating habit. It again is nothing like Ethan. It's been amazing to see the big differences between the two boys. I am hoping that Brendan is my calm child. :-) Not a wild child like Ethan. LOL
